Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, May 5, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday on Sunday is Mrs. Elise Cuevas.  Happy Early Birthday Mrs. Cuevas!

 

Important Messages

Check your emails for a second NAHS sweatshirt and t-shirt order form. The deadline for this order is this Friday May 5.  All proceeds will go toward the Elena Lucore Memorial Scholarship at The University of Massachusetts Amherst. Elena is an OLA alumna and a former member of the NAHS.  Please order your shirt ASAP.

 

Please drop off your Basket Raffle tickets and money by the end of 1st period.   

 

St. Paul Carnival Association is looking for volunteers to help paint faces at the Blessing of the Fleet on May 6th in Pass Christian. Please see Mrs. Colbert if you are interested in helping.

 

OLA Sports

-If you have a uniform from any sport, please return to Coach Corley by the end of the day today. Leave it on the brown desk in her office! Thank you!

- Basketball tryouts will be held on Monday May 8th-Thursday, May 11th. 9th-12th: 3:45-5:30 and middle school: 5:30-7:00. 

 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu:  Loaded Nachos; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Shrimp, Corn and Crab Bisque.

 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
