Good Morning OLA!  Today is Monday, May 1, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Important Messages

You can turn in your Basket Raffle tickets and money to the office.  Please make sure they are in an envelope with your name listed on the front of the envelope.  If you need more raffle tickets, stop by the office. Remember, the class who sells the most tickets will win a pool party!

 

St. Paul Carnival Association is looking for volunteers to help paint faces at the Blessing of the Fleet on May 6th in Pass Christian. Please see Mrs. Colbert if you are interested in helping.

 

Anyone interested in running for student council next year there will be an interest meeting in Mrs. Colbert's classroom on Wednesday, May 3rd at 8. You must come to the meeting to be eligible to run!

School Mass Tomorrow.  All students should wear their oxford shirts.

 

OLA Sports

The track team qualified for state in 3 events. Emily Reinike will compete in the high jump. Abby Zimmerman will compete in the 400 open. Abby Zimmerman, Nina Bradford, Margaret Compretta and Emily Reinike will compete in the 4x400. 

 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu:  Breaded Chicken Tenders with Gravy, and Steamed Broccoli; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheddar.

 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
