Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, May 11, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Important Messages

Class officer elections will be next week. All signed paperwork is due by MONDAY at 4:00.. 

ONLY TWO Campaign posters (standard poster size) are permitted and may be placed in the Commons or the gap. Your signed paperwork is due BEFORE you hang posters.

All campaign posters must be appropriate with no demeaning remarks or malicious undertones.

All posters must be approved by your class sponsor prior to hanging. 

Those who will be in 8th grade next year will sign up and get paperwork from Tolar

Those who will be in 9th grade next year will sign up and get paperwork from Haas

Those who will be in 10th grade next year will sign up and get paperwork from Colbert

Those who will be in 11th grade next year will sign up and get paperwork from Fucich

Those who will be in 12th grade next year will sign up and get paperwork from Mayer

 

Alpha Omega Robotics has been invited to a summer off-season competition.

This is the time for anyone who would like to see what robotics is all about to try it out.  See Mrs. Cranford and any member to find out what it is all about.

 

The Archery Team will have a bake sale at both lunches on Friday May 12th.  Please support the archery team and buy some delicious Sweets!

 

Archery Team please meet in Mrs. Tolar's room after school on Thursday for a very short meeting.  The faster you get there the faster you leave.  

 

OLA Sports

The track team competed in the 3A State championship meet yesterday and did great! Emily Reinike won 2nd in the high jump. Abby Zimmerman placed 5th in the 400 meter run. The 4x400 relay consisting of Nina Bradford, Emily Reinike, Margaret Compretta and Abby Zimmerman won 3rd place. Congratulations girls!

 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu:  Hot Dog & Chips; or Soup and Salad Bar. 

 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
