Good Morning
OLA! Today is Friday, August 18, 2023.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
1 John 5:12: He who has the Son
has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
Thoughts on today's verse:
This statement is
both a reminder of God's glorious grace and also of our need to share that
grace with others.
Father of all nations, resurrect in your people
a desire to spread your grace to every language, tribe, nation, and people.
Empower us with your Spirit so we will speak the Gospel of Jesus with boldness
and respect to a world that does not know him. Use us to help others come to
life in the Son! Through Jesus we
pray…….
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy
Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive
us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES
Big Sisters & Little Sisters will eat lunch together in the gym during 5th lunch. Freshman, during your normal 4th period lunch, report to your 5th period class.
Robotics will have an interest meeting during first and second lunch on MONDAY in Room 22. Open to all students in grades 7-12.
Raffle Tickets: PLEASE return your raffle ticket stubs and money to the office as soon as possible. Place the ticket stubs and money (or a note stating “Charge to FACTS) in a sealed envelope, with the student’s name listed on the front of the envelope.
OLA Sports
The 9th grade, JV and varsity volleyball teams beat Biloxi last
night. Great job girls!
Saturday: 7th Grade Volleyball Gulfport Tournament. Swim Practice Meet, 9:00 a.m.
Teachers: Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count. Today’s Menu: Chicken Nuggets, Mac-N- Cheese and Green Beans; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup: Chicken Dumpling Soup.
ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR BADGE TO SCAN FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH. If you do not have your badge, stop by the office before reporting to the Commons.
At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
