                        OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Friday, August 4, 2023

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, August 4, 2023.

Welcome Back to the 2023-2024 School Year:

It’s hard to believe that we are starting yet another school year.  If you are a returning student, welcome back!  If you are new to our OLA family, welcome!  We are looking forward to a very successful and fun-filled school year. We hope you will take advantage of all that Our Lady Academy has to offer: academically, socially and most importantly, spiritually.

Here at OLA, we start our school day with our Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us pray together in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 5:14-16  [Jesus said] "You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Thoughts on today's verse:  Our life will not be neutral. We will either point others away from God or show them that allegiance to God is important. Let's make an intentional effort today to shine the light of God's holiness and grace in all we do and say.

O God, may the words of my mouth, the actions of my life, and the influence of my deeds show others your holiness and grace and lead them to acknowledge your majesty and might. In Jesus name we pray.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Celebrating their Birthday yesterday was Hope Ponte.  Celebrating birthdays today are Elizabeth Simpson and Ava Alonso.  And celebrating birthdays on Saturday are Addison Moore and Mia Uddo.  Happy Birthday to ALL.
