Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, August 16, 2023.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Father God, Be with us today.  Fill our hearts with joy.  Fill our minds with learning.  Fill our classrooms with peace.  Fill our lessons with fun.  Fill our friendships with kindness.  Fill our school with love.  In Jesus name we pray…

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES
Crescent Athletic Club
There is a sign-up sheet on Mrs. St. Mary’s door for any student who would like to join the Crescent Athletic Club.  Also, if you would like to run for an office for CAC, please see Mrs. St. Mary.

Student Council
Attention 7th-grade students!! Student council and class officer elections will be on Friday. You will be electing TWO student council representatives, a class president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and historian. Historians may run as a pair. Paperwork can be picked up at the teacher table in the commons and is due to Mrs. Colbert by Wednesday. You are allowed to hang TWO posters only!

National Art Honor Society meeting will be held this Friday morning, the 18th, at 8:00 am, in Mrs. Troutman's room, 208. This is for all current members and inquiring students. Previously taken Art 1 is a requirement. Other details to follow at the meeting.

Raffle Tickets:  Please return your tickets to the office ASAP, due date is September 15th.
Place your ticket stubs and money in an envelope, with your name is listed on the outside of the envelope.  Tickets can be charged to your FACTS account.

OLA Sports
Today: JH Volleyball at Home 5:30 p.m.

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu:  Pepperoni Pizza, Chips and Strawberry Peach Jell-O; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup: Broccoli Cheddar Soup.
ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR BADGE TO SCAN FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH.  If you do not have your badge, stop by the office before reporting to the Commons.

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
