Good Morning OLA!  Today is Wednesday, August 30, 2023. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

SADD OFFICER SIGN-UP SHEET AND MEMBER SIGN-UP SHEET ARE ON MS. HAAS' DOOR, ROOM 404, JOHNSON HALL.

 

Campus Ministry will have an interest meeting on tomorrow morning at 8:00 in Mrs. Mayer’s room.  Campus ministry is open to all OLA students and is a wonderful way to get involved!  Come learn about what we do and help us plan our events for the year.  

 

Chorus:  If you are interested in joining the Chorus Club, please sign-up on the sheet posted in the office window.  There will be an informational meeting on Friday during lunch.  The Chorus Club will meet before or after school (dates TBD), and will perform throughout the school year.

 

Sisterhood Shirts for Mercy Day:

If you can't find your sisterhood t-shirt for Mercy Day, you need to notify Ms. Chapman through email by Wednesday, August 30th. There is a $10 replacement fee. 

If you are a new student this year, your shirt has been ordered and will be given to you in the coming month.

 

ACT Prep Course

Mr. Gemelli will hold his ACT prep course for the September 9th test. Flyers are available in the office. 

 

Raffle Tickets:  Please return your raffle ticket stubs and money to the office as soon as possible. 

 

OLA Sports

The JV and varsity volleyball teams both beat St. Patrick last night. Great job girls.

 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu:  Pizza and Potato Chips; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup: Italian Wedding Soup with Meatballs.

 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
