OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!    Today is Tuesday, September 26, 2023.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Joel 2:23  Rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains.

Thoughts on today's verse:  God sends his blessings many times even when we don't pray. But with the special smell that comes with a drought-breaking rain, God loves the aroma of his people's joy, especially when he is the source of its delight!

Holy God and Tender Father, you are our great delight. When all others fail, you are still God. You are a rock and fortress, you are a tender shepherd, and you are a solid mountain that cannot be shaken. Your blessings and grace shower upon us and fill us with joy. Through Jesus we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

SADD RED RIBBON WEEK

Wednesday’s Theme is “Live an Old Drug-Free Life”

1.         Dress like an old person (must be school appropriate).

2.         No Slippers, must wear closed back shoes

Everyone must follow the rules for dress or will have to call home for their uniform. 

Service Hours: 

OLG Rummage Sale on Saturday and Sunday, students can help and earn Service Hours.   

Homecoming Tickets

SSC will be selling Homecoming tickets in the Gap on Wednesday at the end of 4th period and the beginning of 5th.  Please remember to bring cash or check made payable to SSC, tickets are $30.00. 

OLA Sports

The Swim Team will host a meet at home tonight at 5 pm. Everyone, plan to attend as we will honor our senior swimmer, Lily Yanez, right before the meet starts! Good luck girls. 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu: Aloha Burgers with Swiss Cheese, Fries and Tropical Fruit Salad; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheese & Bacon. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
