OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, October 24, 2023.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Ephesians 5:19-20  Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Today at Mass, let everyone hear you SING, Through Jesus we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

HYLA Applications are due on Thursday. 

Mandatory meeting at lunch on Wednesday in Chemistry Lab for Science National Honor Society.  Elections of officers will be discussed, and two major projects for the year. 

National Junior Honor Society is having a Halloween-themed bake sale this Wednesday! They will be selling items in the courtyard during morning and afternoon break. Make sure to bring a couple of dollars for some spooky treats. 

For all those who have signed up to work Trunk or Treat, there will be a quick meeting at 8:10 on Thursday morning in Mrs. Colbert’s room.  

Listen Up!  DUNBAR VILLAGE Trick or Treat is TONIGHT from 5:30 to 7:30, not on Halloween. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Mayer. 

Student Council Pumpkins are due October 30th.   

The Saint Stanislaus Student Council is sponsoring a Dance for 7th and 8th grade this coming Saturday, October 28, at school in the SSC mall.   For more information, see flyers posted around campus. 

OLA Sports

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   

Today’s Menu: Plain or Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Sausage Pattie; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken Tortilla. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
