OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!  Today is Tuesday, October 3, 2023.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Proverbs 27:1  Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.

Thoughts on today's verse:  God, give us the strength to seize the moment and live the life today that will please you and bless others. Help our hearts feel the urgency of today and act with boldness, kindness, and salvation instead of worrying so much about what may happen.  In Jesus name we pray…..

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Listen up!  At 11:08. ALL students will report to their 4^th / 5^th Period Class.  At 12:00, we will call students by Sisterhood, they will grab their lunch and report to their Faith Formation Meeting.  Your meeting location is posted around campus. 

If you lost a bracelet on Saturday at the Homecoming Dance, please see Mrs. Haas. 

Student council is happy to announce the return of Trunk or Treat featuring our favorite Saints! We need volunteers to decorate their cars, pass out candy, and work the Saints tables! THIS IS A FUN OPPORTUNITY FOR SERVICE HOURS! The event will be on October 30th in the student parking lot. See Mrs. Colbert for details! 

 Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   

Today’s Menu: Jambalaya, Vegetable and Roll; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Shrimp, Corn and Crab Bisque. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
