OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, October 4, 2023.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Isaiah 55:6  Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

Thoughts on today's verse:  In truth, God is always close to those who genuinely seek after him. The real problem is that we drift away from him, lose interest, and leave his presence. So let's seek him and receive his grace and his help while we recognize that he alone is the one who truly saves.

Father, we seek you with all our hearts. While we seek to know about you through your Word, we long to know you and be known by you as a tender father knows his child and as a child feels complete trust toward his tender father. Be not only our God, but be real to us in ways that transcend explanation. Help us sense your nearness and to know your presence.  In Jesus name we pray…..

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday today is Blakelee Geil.  And celebrating birthdays over the fall break are Myah Favre, Faith Nunmaker and Nina Bradford.  Happy Birthday to ALL! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

If you lost a bracelet on Saturday at the Homecoming Dance, please see Mrs. Haas. 

Student council is happy to announce the return of Trunk or Treat featuring our favorite Saints! We need volunteers to decorate their cars, pass out candy, and work the Saints tables! THIS IS A FUN OPPORTUNITY FOR SERVICE HOURS! The event will be on October 30th in the student parking lot. See Mrs. Colbert for details!  

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   

Today’s Menu: Grilled Cheese with Tomato Basil Soup; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Tomato Basil Soup. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
