Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, January 26, 2024.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday on Saturday is Lily Yanez.  Happy “Early” Birthday Lily!

 

Important Messages

To celebrate Catholic Schools Week, we invite all OLA students to wear their school Mass uniform (Oxford shirt) to their local church on Sunday, January 28th.

Students can receive a free ICE CREAM at lunch next week if they take a picture of themselves and/or family dressed in their school uniform at church. Email the photo to Mrs. Corr. 

Our kick-off for Catholic Schools Week starts today with our OLA Family Carnival, in the gym from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  We are looking forward to seeing you and your family!  Don’t forget, we will have the Goldfish booth!  Come and win a free Goldfish, your parents will be thrilled! 

SADD is going to make another order of sweatshirts.  For this order, the design will be the same as the lavender sweatshirts.  The ONLY difference is the color will be pastel pink.  The deadline to order will be Monday, February 5^th.  A link to order will be email to all students and faculty later today. 

Mardi Gras Masquerade tomorrow from 7:30 to 10:00 at Parrish’s in Long Beach Harbor.  Tickets are on sale, please see Mrs. Colbert.   $20 for single $35 for a couple and can be charged to FACTS.  Tickets will not be sold at the door. 

Teachers:  Please take daily attendance and also enter yours and your student’s lunch selection.   

Today’s Menu: Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti, Glazed Carrots and Roll; or Soup and Salad Bar.  Today’s soup is Minestrone. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
