OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, May 2, 2024.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Deadline to return your Class Basket Raffle Tickets is 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.  

OLA Sports

JV/Varsity Soccer tryouts will be held on Wednesday, May 8th and Thursday, May 9th from 4-6 pm at the SSC football field.

 Basketball tryouts will take place after school on May 6th-8th in the gym. If you are interested in playing next season, please sign your name on the sign-up sheet that is posted at the Student Resource Center.

 Sailing Awards, Monday, May 6th at 6 p.m. at the SSC Café.  June 1-2, School’s Out Regatta.

 Today’s Schedule:  Following Mass, all students will report to their 3rd Period Class.  Remain in your 3rd Period, we will call students by GRADE to report to lunch.  During lunch, you can change out of your uniform to your Field Day clothes.  After lunch, students will report to the gym for a quick Pep Rally.  Field Day will follow the Pep Rally.

Today’s Menu: Plain or Chili Hot Dog with Chips and Mandarin Orange Cup; or Soup and Salad Bar.  Today’s soup is Tomato Basil.   

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
