OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!     Today is Wednesday, May 8, 2024.  

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Important Messages

Seniors, before leaving school today you will need to:

1)  Return your Chromebook (with Charger).  

We will call for Seniors to return Chromebooks/Chargers throughout the day.

2)  Return Textbooks to your teachers.

3)  Clean out your locker.  

If anything is left in your locker, you must return to OLA to finish cleaning out your locker. 

Also, your OLA Google Accounts will be deactivated on May 17th.  Please be sure to download any documents, pictures, etc. from your OLA Google Drive that you wish to save.  Once your account is deactivated, it cannot be recovered.   

Student council and class offer elections will be on Wednesday, May 16th. If you are interested in running for office or student council, please see Mrs. Colbert for paperwork.   

Band Concert

Tonight the band will put on their Spring Concert and Art Show at 6:30 p.m. in the Brother Peter Gym at SSC. Admission is free. Come enjoy the music as well as works from the SSC art classes on display in the lobby. 

If you left your glasses at the beach yesterday, please stop by the office to pick up. 

OLA Sports

JV/Varsity Soccer tryouts will be held TODAY and tomorrow from 4-6 pm at the SSC football field. 

Basketball tryouts will take place after school TODAY in the gym. 

Today’s Menu: All Students should have either pre-ordered Raising Cane Chicken Strips or have brought their lunch from home.  The cafeteria will not be serving any meals today.  If you did not preorder or did not bring a lunch from home, please stop by the office at the end of first period to call home. 

Teachers, please take daily attendance and enter into FACTS.  

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
