Good Morning OLA!   

Today is Friday, August 16, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Jesus reminds us that our significance is great -- not because we are so important but because we are known personally by God. We don't have to be afraid, we are known and loved by the One who is and was and is to come!

Eternal God, Almighty Father, we are awed by the fact that you chose to know us. Thank you! In Jesus name we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Celebrating their birthday today is Avery Elkins.  Happy Birthday Avery! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Robotics

Any student in grades 9-12 interested in robotics please meet Tuesday morning in Room 206 at 8 am.

Also, 7th and 8th graders interested in Lego League please meet in Room 204 on Wednesday during lunch for a brief informational meeting. 

Yearbook Club

Are you interested in joining the Yearbook Club? We will have an interest meeting in the student resource center on Tuesday, August 20th, during the LAST 20 minutes of both lunches. Food is not allowed at this meeting. Yearbook club is open to 7th-12th grades. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Corr.  

Sisterhood Shirt:

If you cannot find your sisterhood t-shirt, please email Ms. Chapman by August 30th. There is a $15 replacement fee.   If you are a new student, your shirt has been ordered. 

ACT Prep Course

Mr. Gemelli will hold his ACT prep course September 9^th through 12th, flyers are available in the office.  

Raffle Tickets:  Please return your raffle ticket stubs and money to the office as soon as possible.  

At the end of the school day, car riders should report to the carline ASAP! 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu; Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice & Egg Roll with YumYum Sauce; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Lobster Bisque Soup.
