Good Morning OLA!    

Today is Friday, August 9, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

Psalms 46:1  God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Thoughts on today's verse:  Where can we go when all the walls fall and all the armies crumble and all hope is lost? To the eternal God, who is our Father.
Our Rock, Our Hope, and Our Protector, we thank you for preserving our lives. we thank you for hearing our cries for help and healing. We thank you for guiding our feet into ways that have been a blessing. Please, O God, stay close by as we face the stresses and challenges in our lives. Through your Spirit, enable us to grow and be examples to others as we pass through life's storm. Through Jesus we pray

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Emma Hebert.  And celebrating birthdays over the weekend are Mrs. Susan Gelpi, Carleigh Russo and Margot Schindler.  Happy Birthday to ALL! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

All current NAHS members please meet in Mrs. Troutman's room during 5th lunch.  

Any 10th-12th graders interested in joining National Art Honor Society, there will be a meeting on Tuesday August 13th in Mrs. Troutman's room during 5th lunch. You must have completed Art 1 with an A average. 

At the end of the school day, car riders should report to the carline ASAP! 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Turkey & Cheese Hoagie with Trimmings, Chips, Carrot Sticks with Ranch Dressing; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken and Sausage Gumbo.  All meals come with a free drink.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
