Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, August 21, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Thoughts on today's verse:  May His joy shine into our lives and His love brighten our spirit and warm our hearts,  Through Jesus we pray…….

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Seniors and their Parents will attend a meeting TODAY in the Commons from 6:00 to 7:00p.m. 

ALL CAR RIDERS – They will be a meeting TODAY at 3:15 in the Commons. 

National Art Honor Society

National Art Honor Society applications due to Mrs. Troutman by Friday, August 23rd.  

Lego League

7th and 8th graders interested in Lego League please meet in Room 204 on TODAY during lunch for a brief informational meeting. 

Sisterhood Shirt:

If you cannot find your sisterhood t-shirt, please email Ms. Chapman by August 30th. There is a $15 replacement fee.   If you are a new student, your shirt has been ordered. 

ACT Prep Course

Mr. Gemelli will hold his ACT prep course September 9^th through 12th, flyers are available in the office.  

Raffle Tickets:  Please return your raffle tickets to the office as soon as possible.  

OLA Sports

OLA won their Swim Meet with Gulfport.

·         OLA's relay team won the 200 medley, the 200 freestyle, and the 400 freestyle relays.

·         Charlotte Nobile won the 200 freestyle.

·         Ella Garcia won the 50 freestyle and the 500 freestyle.

·         Stella Cappel won the 100 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu; Spaghetti & Meatballs with Green Beans and Garlic Bread; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Shrimp, Crab and Corn Bisque.
