Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, September 27, 2024. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. 

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Madison Ladner.  And celebrating birthdays over the weekend are Emerson Mayfield, Charlotte Connolly and Mrs. Carolee Ray.  Happy Birthday to ALL! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

All grades please have your music to Ms. Ashley by the end of the day on Friday. At the very latest, Monday morning.  

OLA Sports

The OLA Swim team won their meet with Biloxi, St. Martin, D'Iberville, and Harrison Central.
-The relay team placed 1st in the 200 medley and the 200 freestyle relays.
-Maci Thompson placed 2nd in the 200 freestyle and 2nd in the 50 freestyle
-Ella Garcia placed 1st in 100 freestyle and first place in the 200 IM
-Charlotte Nobile placed 2nd in the 100 backstroke and 3rd in the 100 breaststroke
-Averi Tolar place 3rd in the 100 backstroke

Golf
The OLA golf team played in the GC Rebel Open for Golf at Whispering Pines in Moss Point.
Hope Ponte, Tilley Newman and Gabby Hass played.  The girls came in second place against 16 teams
Tilley Newman won first place in the tournament against 47 other girls and Hope Ponte had her personal best score coming in tenth place. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Shrimp Fettuccine; Cesar Salad and Garlic Knot; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken & Sausage Gumbo.  Mrs. Florence’s Homemade Bread Pudding for those who order a Hot or Cold Meal.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
