Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, September 23, 2024. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

2 Corinthians 13:14  May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Thoughts on today's verse:  We have a friend in Jesus who has taught us the power of blessings. Grace, love and fellowship rooted in the eternal, sacrificial, and gracious nature of our God, and we share it with God's children all around the world.  Through Jesus we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

OLA Sports

Sailing team members Aidan Castle and Karoline Burroughs sailed in the SEISA District Single-handed Championships in Houston over the weekend. Aidan placed 4th in the boys ILCA 7 class; Karoline placed 5th in the girls ILCA 6 class. Congratulations sailors! 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Chicken Tenders, French Fries and Fruit; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Lobster Bisque Soup.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
