Good Morning OLA!  Today is Thursday, September 19, 2024. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Ephesians 4:29  Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Thoughts on today's verse:  The goal in Christian communication is not merely clarity, but encouragement based on what the needs of the other person are.

Tender Shepherd, give us hearts that are pure so that our words may be pure. Give us hearts that are kind so that our words may be kind. Give us hearts that are full of joy and encouragement so that we may share these with those you bring to our path and with whom we share conversation. Through Jesus we pray.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Chloe White.  Happy Birthday Chloe! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Tomorrow is Mercy Day.  PLEASE GO HOME TODAY AND LOCATE YOUR SISTERHOOD SHIRT!!!

You will wear your Mass Uniform to school in the morning for Prayer Service and the Mercy Day Tea.  Later in the day, you will change into your Sisterhood Shirt, Shorts and closed back shoes..  When changing, please keep up with your clothes. 

OLA Sports

Junior high soccer tryouts will be held TODAY at the OLA soccer field from 4-5:30. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please take enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Red Beans and Rice with Smoked Sausage and Cornbread; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Homemade Chicken Noddle Soup.
