Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, September 4, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Genesis 1:27   God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. ……….. In Jesus name we pray….

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Presley Smith.  Happy Birthday Presley! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Robotics for grades 9-12 will meet today and Thursday from 3:45 to 5:30 in the Robotics room.  Anyone interested in finding out about Robotics is welcome to come to either meeting. 

Lego League for grades 7th and 8th will meet after school on Friday until 4:30. 

Service Hours

Carnival Association of Long Beach works to raise money for Catholic education and charities.  They need volunteers for the family fest at St Thomas Church on September 7th.  Please see Mrs. Mayer today if you are interested in helping.  This is a great opportunity get service hours and help the community.  

Service Hours are due next Monday, please submit to your Religion teacher. 

Raffle Tickets:  Please return your raffle tickets to the office as soon as possible.  

OLA Sports

The OLA swim team won their meet with West Harrison.
> OLA's relay team won the 200 freestyle relay.
> Ashlynn Tolar won the 200 freestyle and the 100 freestyle
> Bijou Ellison won the 50 freestyle
> Averi Tolar won the 500 freestyle
> Stella Cappel won the 100 backstroke
> Ella Garcia won the 100 breaststroke 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please take enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Chicken Fried Rice with Egg Roll and YumYum Sauce or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken & Dumpling. 

The Student Council Store will be open at the beginning of each lunch.  Once all tables are called to lunch, the store will be close. 

Also, if you want to buy a cookie or drink at lunch, you must purchase these items at the time when your table is called.
