OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, October 7, 2024. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

Isaiah 55:6  Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

Thoughts on today's verse:  In truth, God is always close to those who genuinely seek after him. The real problem is that we drift away from him, lose interest, and leave his presence. So, let's seek him and receive his grace and his help while we recognize that he alone is the one who truly saves.

Father, we seek you with all our hearts. In Jesus name we pray…..

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Mr. Maxwell with Herff Jones will meet with Seniors TODAY at 11:30 to take orders for Senior Announcements. 

There are extra Campus Ministry Shirts!  See Mrs. Goris to purchase one for $18. It will be charged to FACTS. Please come before the end of the day on Wednesday. 

OLA Sports

JV and varsity soccer tryouts will be held on October 9th and 10th from 4-6 pm at the OLA soccer field.

The OLA swim team placed 2nd at South State on Saturday.
OLA's relay team of Maci Thompson, Stella Cappel, Ashlynn Tolar, and Ella Garcia placed 2nd in the 400 freestyle relay.
Ashlynn Tolar placed 3rd in the 100 freestyle
Stella Cappel placed 3rd in the 100 backstroke
Ella Garcia placed 2nd in the 100 breaststroke

The OLA volleyball team beat Southeast Lauderdale in the 1st round of playoffs.

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Basil Soup; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Tomato Basil.
