OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!  Today is Thursday, October 31, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

Ephesians 2:8-9   It is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.

Thoughts on today's verse:  We all love gifts! When they're truly given, with no strings attached, all we have to do is receive them. The greatest gift we've ever received has nothing to do with our efforts. It is a gift from God. We didn't earn it, deserve it, or purchase it. God gave it through his sacrificial gift so our salvation would not be our boast, but his kindness.  Through Jesus we pray.


Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Dino Chicken Nuggets, Mac N Cheese, Carrot Sticks with Ranch Dressing; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Corn, Crab, and Shrimp Bisque.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
