Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, October 1, 2024. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

Psalms 119:165  Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

Thoughts on today's verse:  When it comes to living life, if we know God's will and love it, we will do it. Nothing can make us stumble.

Thank you God for this day. Thank you for all that lies ahead. Stir in us a love for your will and your way so that nothing can make us stumble. Empower us by your Spirit and guide us by your truth so that we may more perfectly reflect your character. In Jesus name we pray….

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Intramurals 

Last day to purchase Intramurals Tickets is TODAY during lunch.  Ages 3 and up MUST have a ticket to enter the gym.  Ages 2 and under can sit in parent’s lap.  Seniors may purchase up to 5 tickets, underclassmen can purchase up to 4 tickets.  Tickets will NOT be sold at the door, so please purchase your tickets today.  

Date to return your E-Rate Survey has been extended to the end of the day today. 

OLA Sports

The OLA Swim Team competed in the Demouroulle swim meet in Biloxi on Saturday.
OLA tied for 2nd with Pass Christian High School, out of 14 other teams.
OLA's relay team of Sadie Thigpen, Maci Thompson, Ashlynn Tolar, and Ella Garcia placed 2nd in the 200 freestyle relay.
OLA's relay team of Charlotte Nobile, Maci Thompson, Stella Cappel, and Ella Garcia placed 2nd in the 400 freestyle relay.
Ella Garcia placed 2nd in the 200 freestyle and placed 3rd in the 50 freestyle. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Baked Potato Bar; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheddar.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
