Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, November 22, 2024 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions: 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

John 17:17  Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

Thoughts on today's verse:  God's promises, God's Scripture, and God's clearest message of all, his Son, are truth. But only the last of these is truth, grace, deliverer, friend, Lord, Savior, brother, Redeemer...

O God, give us a holy passion to know your truth and live it in both word and deed. Make our lives a reflection of your Word, who both proclaimed and lived your truth.  In Jesus' name we pray.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday over the Thanksgiving holidays are Olivia Couvillon, Emma Grace Cain, Ivy Holmes and Elleigh-James Burge.  Happy Birthday to ALL!  

OLA Sports

Congratulations to our basketball teams for two big wins last night at home. The middle school team beat Poplarville 36-4 and the varsity beat Vancleave 63-37. Nice job Crescents!

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Hamburger with Trimmings, and Chips.  We will NOT have the Soup and Salad Bar today.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
