OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, November 18, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions: 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 11:28-30  Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give your rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn form me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.   Through Jesus we pray….. 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

If you have not already done so, please turn in Pathways 2 Possibilities permission slip to the office ASAP. 

National Honor Society members please check your email.  

Late Take-In Day on Wednesday

WEDNESDAY is a “Late Take-In Day”, first bell rings at 9:30, tardy bell rings at 9:34. The building will be open at 8:00 a.m. for all non-driving students, please enter through the Gym Door (door closest to the street/courtyard). Listen Up!  Once students are on campus, they will not be allowed to leave to go to their locker.  So please retrieve items from your locker before leaving school on Tuesday.   Students are not allowed to be on the SSC campus on Wednesday morning.

Service Hours – Our local library is in desperate need of help! 

Mondays and Thursdays, after school until 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday & Wednesday, after school until 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, anytime between 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.n. 

OLA Sports

Congratulations to the SSC Sailing Team for winning 3rd place at the Back to School Regatta held in Mandeville over the weekend. Karoline Burroughs and Emma Harris were the top sailors in the regatta. Great job sailing team!

Lunch and Attendance

Very Important Message, so Listen Up!

Pizza Hut Lunch Order for Wednesday. 

By the end of 1^st Period TODAY, ALL students, (with the exception of 8^th Graders) and staff must complete the link which was emailed to you over the weekend.  Even if you are NOT eating pizza on Wednesday, you must complete the link and check “not eating”.   8^th Grader will be out on a Field Trip and will not be eating lunch at OLA. 

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Spaghetti & Meat Sauce, Corn, and Garlic Breadstick; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken and Dumpling.
