OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!  Today is Thursday, November 14, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions: 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Faith doesn’t always mean that God changes your situation.  Sometimes it means that He changes you.

In Jesus' name we pray, 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Important Messages

Lunch Reminders: ALL students, seniors included, are to enter the commons and go directly to a table. 

You should not fix a drink, get paper products, or use the microwave until AFTER prayer when your table has been called.  No more than 8 students to a table.  Chromebooks are not allowed in the Commons during lunch.  

Deadline to order your Robotic sweatshirt has been extended to Friday!  Please complete the link that was emailed to you ASAP. 

Service Hours – Our local library is in desperate need of help! 

Mondays and Thursdays, after school until 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday & Wednesday, after school until 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, anytime between 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 

OLA Sports

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity basketball teams as they had two big victories Tuesday night at Sacred Heart. The JV won 50-10 and the varsity finished the night off with a 53-22 victory. The home opener is tonight against Lumberton High School. JV plays at 5:30 pm and the varsity plays at 6:30 pm. Come out and support the Crescents! 

Congrats to our OLA Middle School basketball teams for their wins last night over North Woolmarket. The girls won the first game by a score of 22-3 and the second game by a score of 41-16. 

Lunch and Attendance

When reporting to lunch, DO NOT place your Bookbags along the Composite Walls.  

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Potato Salad and Green Beans; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Beef Vegetable with Noodles.
