OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!  Today is Thursday, November 7, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

Joshua 24:15  If serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve.... As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

Thoughts on today's verse:  While we can't speak for everyone in our family, we can commit to what everyone in our family should desire: We will serve the Lord!

Lord, Give us wisdom on how to lead our families to love you more. Please bless our parents, and thank you for their faith. Please give us courage and sensitivity so that we can effectively share your truth. We want our homes to be a place where you are known, appreciated, honored, and loved. Through Jesus We Pray…….

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

Students, please check the back of your Chromebook for missing screws.  If you are missing any, please stop by the office during your break or lunch.  Or, you can stop by the office before or after school. 

Car Riders MUST be dropped-off and picked-up through the carline; NOT on Union Street or in front of the church.  You will be written up if you are a car rider and you are not going through the carline. 

While waiting to be picked up, please be looking for your ride.  Students are talking to their friends; or on their cellphones.  This slows down the carline, please pay attention for your ride!

OLA Sports

Congrats to our OLA middle school basketball teams for their victories over Creekbend last night. The girls won the first game by a score of 26-9 and the second game by a score of 44-9. 

Lunch and Attendance

When reporting to lunch, Bookbags should NOT be placed along the Composite Walls.  

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Fried Pork Chop, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, and Corn; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Loaded Baked Potato.
