OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!  Today is Wednesday, November 13, 2024.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions: 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 1:18  I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Heaven is something we see with our heart. When we are discouraged, doubtful, and depressed, we need to have the eyes of our hearts "enlightened."   In Jesus' name we pray,

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Today is the last chance to order your Robotic sweatshirts!  Please complete the link that was emailed to you ASAP.


OLA Sports

JH Basketball at home vs. North Woolmarket at 530 p.m.

JH Soccer at home vs. Biloxi at 5:30.  Please attend to support our teams. 

Lunch and Attendance

When reporting to lunch, DO NOT place your Bookbags along the Composite Walls.  

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Chile or Tomato Basil Soup; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Tomato Basil.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
