OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, December 9, 2024. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions: 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

Today we light the second candle on our Advent wreath, representing peace. Father, this second week of Advent, keep us in perfect peace as our mind stays on the truth of your powerful love. Thank you for your mighty, sovereign hand. Help us to trust fully in you and rest in the peace that you offer. In Jesus we pray. 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

SADD is sponsoring a Christmas Gift Drive for children who are separated from their parents.  We ask that any OLA student donate a gift, age ranges from birth to age 17.  Please try to have gifts by tomorrow (Tuesday).  

OLA Sports

Congratulations to the sailing team for winning the Allstate Sugar Bowl Regatta, held at Southern Yacht Club in New Orleans over the weekend. Stanislaus actually entered two teams, taking first and fourth places in a field of eight. Top sailors securing first place were: Karoline Burroughs, Jack Timberlake, Emma Harris, and Charly Harris. Great job Sailing Rocks! 

OLA soccer Crescents won another district game on Friday versus Perry Central with a score of 12-0. Julia Hoffman, Zoey Bever, Bella Nievas, Audrey March, Isa Barvie, Hannah Nunmaker and Natalia Mossy each scored one goal. Kaylin Kinniburgh scored two goals and Ella Genna had three goals. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Hot Dog with or without Chili; Seasoned Fries, Steamed Vegetables; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheddar.
