Good Morning OLA!  Today is Monday, January 27, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating birthdays recently were Lola Haas, Avery Genin, Helen Hoffmann and Kimber Pennell.  Happy “Belated” Birthday to ALL. 

Important Messages

Tri-School Mass on Wednesday, ALL students must wear their oxford shirts on Wednesday. 

Campus Ministry is extending their Baby item drive for mothers in need! Turn in items to Mrs. Goris before this Friday! The Baby shower will be held next week! The class with the greatest participation will win hot chocolate during lunch! Check posters around the school to see what items your grade is to bring in.  

OLA Sports

Tennis team practice will begin immediately after school today at the SSC tennis courts. 

Congratulations to the Sailing Team for their fine performance at the Rock the New Year Regatta held at Bay Waveland Yacht Club.  Landon Newton and Izzy Dardar took third place. Also sailing were Karoline Burroughs and Emma Harris. Great job Sailing Team! 

The soccer game against Sacred Heart has been moved to January 28th. Senior night has also been moved. 

We will have Dance Senior Night on January 31st before the basketball game (around 5:45ish). The game starts at 6:00. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Chicken & Sausage Gumbo; Potato Salad; Bread and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheddar.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
