Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, January 14, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday today is Lexie Weatherly.  Happy Birthday Lexie! 

Important Messages

This month, Campus Ministry is joining with the anatomy classes to host a Baby Item Drive for mothers in need! Bring in items to be invited to our Baby shower during lunch on January 28! The class with the greatest participation will win hot chocolate during lunch! Check posters around the school to see what items your grade is to bring in. Turn in items to Mrs. Goris before January 24. 

Saint Stanislaus is starting a Drama Club and all OLA students are invited to participate. The next meeting is this Wednesday morning at 7:45 am in Room 250 at Saint Stanislaus. If you have any questions, you may contact Mrs. Tusa at Saint Stanislaus. 

Students, please check your email for a Google Survey.  We are asking students for Menu Suggestion for the last week in January.  Please complete the survey before 6th Period. 

OLA Sports

Our varsity basketball team pushed their winning streak to an all-time school high of 14 in a row last night with a 61-40 victory over Perry Central.  The team travels to St. Patrick tonight for a battle of district undefeated teams. There will be a JV game at 5 pm and varsity plays at 6 pm. Come out to support your Crescents!

 

Congratulations to our Middle School Girls Basketball team. They defeated Creekbend 43-16 to advance to the championship game for the 3rd year in a row! 

They’ll play West Harrison at West Harrison on Thursday, January 16 tentatively at 5:30PM. 

We’re super proud of our girls for all of their hard work this season and wish them the best in the championship game. Please come out and support these girls. Go Crescents! 

If you are interested in being on the OLA track team, please sign up outside of Coach Corley’s classroom. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Hamburger Steak with Rice and Gravy; Corn; Roll; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken Tortilla.
