Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, January 8, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

Maxwell Graves with Herff Jones will meet with Juniors TODAY at 11:30 in the Student Resource Lab regarding Senior Ring orders.  Please do not be late! 

OLA Sports

The Crescents stayed hot last night in varsity basketball as they completed a big win over district rival Perry Central 78-54. The 78 points scored is a new record high in points scored in a single game that was just set Friday night.  The Crescents are now 3-0 in district play. They will be back in action Thursday evening as they host Pearl River High School. Come out and watch the show! 

There will be a tennis interest meeting TODAY during the last 20 minutes of each lunch period.  If you are interested in playing on the tennis team this year you should meet in Mr. Golding's room for the last 20 minutes of your lunch period this Wednesday. 

There will be an Archery interest meeting/equipment moving on this Thursday after school. If you are interested but unable to attend because you are in another sport, please let Coach Corley know. 

The soccer game against sacred heart has been moved from this Friday to January 28th. Senior night has also been moved. 

We will have Dance Senior Night on January 31st before the basketball game (around 5:45ish). The game starts at 6:00. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Buffalo or Plain Chicken Tender Wrap with Trimmings; Waffle Fries; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Italian Wedding with Meatballs..
