OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, April 15, 2025. 

Philippians 2:3: “Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves.”

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my relatives and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father.  Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday today is Ms. Morgan Grey.  Happy Birthday Ms. Grey! 

Important Messages

OLA’s annual art show and sale will be held TODAY from 3:30 to 4:30.  And tomorrow during lunch and after school from 3:30-4:30. All items for sale range from $0.25 - $20. To purchase, please bring cash or check, all proceeds go to National Art Honor Society. 

HYLA is hosting a donation drive for the Hancock County Animal shelter and the animal shelter requested bleach, cat litter, paper towels, and dawn dish soap. The deadline to donate is April 17th.  Please leave your items in the Student Resource Center. 

Ministry Hours for this year are due by April 29, see your Religion teacher for available opportunities. 

Lunch and Attendance

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu: Baked Potato Bar; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheddar.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
