OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, August 18, 2025.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Senior Parent Orientation today at 5:30 in the Commons. 

5K Run for Mercy

OLA students and faculty can run for FREE!  The race starts at 8AM, September 20th at the Washington Pavillion.  If you want to run the race, fill out the google form sent to your email. Do not register through the QR code or links on social media!!!! (that is for paying participants.)

The form must be completed by WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH!!!! 

Race Shirts

If you would like a 5K race shirt, you can order one for $15.  The race shirts are limited, so first come first serve!  If you purchase a race shirt, you can wear it with your school skirt and tennis shoes on Tuesday, September 23rd!  You do not need to run in the 5K in order to buy a shirt. 

If you are running in the race and want a shirt you still have to fill out the form.  

If you would like a race shirt, please complete the form sent to your email by THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 22!! 

Raffle Tickets!  Please return your raffle tickets to the office as soon as possible. 

OLA Sports

V/JV Soccer tryouts after school  at 5:00 today and tomorrow. JH Volleyball at Hancock today at 5:30. 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Chicken Nuggets, Mac N Cheese, Fresh Fruit; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Cream of Potato with Bacon Soup.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
