OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, August 21, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

National Art Honor Society applications are due to Mrs. Troutman be 3:30 TOMORROW! 

Raffle Tickets!  Please return your raffle tickets to the office as soon as possible. 

5K Run for Mercy

OLA students and faculty can run for FREE! 

The race starts at 8AM, September 20th at the Washington Pavillion

If you want to run the race, fill out the google form sent to your email. Do not register through the QR code or links on social media!!!! (that is for paying participants.)

The form must be completed by WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH!!!! 

Race Shirts

If you would like a 5K race shirt, you can order one for $15.

The race shirts are limited, so first come first serve!

If you purchase a race shirt, you can wear it with your school skirt and tennis shoes on Tuesday, September 23rd!

You do not need to run in the 5K in order to buy a shirt. 

If you are running in the race and want a shirt you still have to fill out the form.  

If you would like a race shirt, please complete the form sent to your email by THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 22!! 

OLA Sports

TODAY:

JH Volleyball game at Bayou View at 5:00.

JV/V Volleyball game, OLA vs Purvis, at home at 5:30. 

JH Soccer Tryouts will be Tuesday, September 23rd and Wednesday, September 24th from 4:30-6:00 at the OLA soccer field. You must have registered in DragonFly, have a current physical on file, and have completed all eligibility requirements in DragonFly to tryout.  If you have any questions, you may see Coach Ferrell or Coach Summy.  

Soccer Meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45  in the Student Resource Room.  This meeting is for ALL students interested in playing soccer, even those who are currently playing Volleyball. 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Hamburger with Trimmings, Chips; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Broccoli Cheddar.
