on today's verse: Our treasure and our truth come from Scripture, God's
guidance to avoid Satan's harmful traps and live in God's blessed life.
Holy God, thank you for your written word, the
Scriptures. May they come alive in our lives just as they do in our heart and
minds. .Through Jesus we pray
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy
Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive
us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Do you like to play games with children? Paint faces? Carnival association of Long Beach has several events coming up in August, September, and October and they need volunteers. These are great opportunities to get several ministry hours and to give back to Catholic education! Please see Mrs Mayer for more information and to sign up!
Attention 7th and 8th Graders! You MUST remain in the Commons until 8:15!
There will be a National Art Honor Society interest meeting for new members this Friday, August 8th, during 5th lunch in Mrs. Troutman’s room. To qualify, you must be in 10th-12th grade and completed Art 1.
If you are interested in serving as an OLA Ambassador, please stop by Ms. Alarcon’s office, RM 108, to grab a membership packet. Applications are due Friday at 3:30 PM.
At the end of the school day, car riders should report to the carline ASAP!
OLA Sports
TODAY: Varsity home game at 4:30.
JH Volleyball will have practices every Tuesday from 3:45 to 4:45 for the remaining part of the season.
JH Girls' Soccer tryouts, August 12th and August 13th from 6-7:30. JV/V Soccer tryouts, August 18th and 19th from 4:30 to 6:00. Sign-up sheets are posted on the Student Resource Center door. If you are currently in Volleyball, please write this next to your name. Any questions, please see Mr. Farrell.
Attendance & Lunch Orders
Teachers: Please enter your attendance and lunch orders. Today’s Menu: Hamburger Steak in Gravy; Mashed Potatoes or Rice; Vegetable; Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Shrimp, Corn & Crab Bisque.
If you are checking out early today and you did not leave your cell phone in the office, please do so at the end of 1st Period.
