OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, August 12, 2025.  

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

8th Grade Independent Study students taking Health, meet with Mr. Farrell in the Student Resource Center during your lunch break today. 

Mercy Day 5KRun

5K Shoe Drive boxes have been put out. Make sure to donate your new or gently used tennis shoes!

If you would like to run in the Mercy 5K on September 20th, an email will go out later in the month for students and faculty to sign up. Students and Faculty run for free! 

OLA Sports

Junior High Soccer tryouts are postponed until September.

V/JV tryouts will remain on August 18th & 19th from 4:30pm -6pm at OLA Soccer Field. Please be sure to sign up on the sign-up sheet posted on the Student Resource Center door. You MUST have a Physical on file before trying out. 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Loaded Nachos Bar, Refried Beans, Sliced Oranges; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Lobster Bisque.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
