OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, August 5, 2025.  

Morning Prayer:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  

 

Matthew 5:14-16  [Jesus said] "You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

O God, may the words of my mouth, the actions of my life, and the influence of my deeds show others your holiness and grace and lead them to acknowledge your majesty and might. In Jesus name we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating birthdays today are Elliot Foster and  Addison Moore.  Happy Birthday Elliot and Addison! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

If you are interested in serving as on OLA Ambassador, please stop by Ms. Alarcon’s office, RM 108, to grab a membership packet.  Applications are due Friday at 3:30 PM. 

Today is the last day SSC & OLA will not be sharing classes, please report to the same locations. 

OLA Sports

TODAY:  JV/V Home game at 5:30.

Thursday:  Varsity home game at 4:30. 

Golf tryouts will be held August 5th , see Mr. Corr to sign-up. 

JH Girls' Soccer tryouts, August 12th and August 13th from 6-7:30.

 JV/V Soccer tryouts, August 18th and 19th from 4:30 to 6:00. 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Loaded Baked Potato Bar; Fruit; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Cream of Potato with Bacon. 

If you are checking out early today and you did not leave your cell phone in the office, please do so at the end of 1st Period.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
