Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, September 22, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

2 Corinthians 13:14  May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Thoughts on today's verse:  We have a friend in Jesus who has taught us the power of blessings. Grace, love and fellowship rooted in the eternal, sacrificial, and gracious nature of our God, and we share it with God's children all around the world.  Through Jesus we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

There will be a Robotics Parent Meeting for Grades 7^th to 12th tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5:30 in the Student Resource Center. 

7th grade is winning the penny wars.  There will be another collection on Thursday with an update on Friday.  The last day to send in money is Monday the 29th.  The winning class will have a chance to dunk Mrs. Tolar in the dunking booth.   

OLG will have opportunity for community service on Saturday after the 5:00 pm Mass to help with child care for the parent’s night out. 

PTO is collecting Claibourn Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

Volleyball Senior Night is this Thursday at the home game versus West Harrison.  The presentation will immediately follow the JV game (about 6:00 pm).  Come out and honor our senior volleyball players. 

The Crescents will hit the road this Saturday for the Saint Joseph’s Academy Invitational in Baton Rouge, where they’ll line up against 66 teams and more than a thousand athletes. This course is a little different—it’s a three-mile race instead of a 5K—but it’s exactly the kind of test that sharpens the team for championship season in October. Look for the Crescents to make their mark in one of the biggest meets of the year!

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Grilled Cheese  with Tomato Basil Soup; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Creole Onion Soup.
