OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!     Today is Wednesday, September 17, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

1 John 4:16   We know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

Thoughts on today's verse:  How do we know God is at home in our hearts? You know when you are doing loving things to bless the lives of others! Just as we trust and rely on God's constant love for us, our brothers and sisters in Christ need love expressed to them, too!

Loving God and Almighty Father, fill us with your Spirit so we can be more loving to our family, our friends, and those whom you place in our path so they can learn about Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray,

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

OLG will have opportunity for community service on September 27th after 5:00 pm Mass to help with child care for the parent’s night out. 

PTO is collecting Claibourn Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

OLA won their meet with Hancock.

The 200 medley relay of Charlotte McCall, Ellie Thompson, Ella Garcia, and Maci Thompson placed 1^st.

Stella Cappel placed 1st in the 200 freestyle.

Ella Garcia placed 1st in the 200 IM.

Paige Zimmerli placed 1st in the 100 butterfly.

Ellie Thompson placed 1st in the 100 freestyle.

The 200 freestyle relay of Ella Garcia, Ashlynn Tolar, Sadie Thigpen, and Ellie Thompson placed 1st.

Paige Zimmerli placed 1st in the 100 backstroke.

Ella Garcia placed 1st in the 100 breaststroke.

The 400 freestyle relay of Stella Cappel, Bijou Ellison, Maci Thompson, and Paige Zimmerli placed 1st.

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Spaghetti with Meat Sauce; Corn; Garlic Bread Stick; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Mrs. Florence’s 7 Beans & Ham Soup.
