Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, October 17, 2025. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Stronger in His Love

Colossians 1:10  So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.  Through Jesus we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Kaylin Kinniburgh.  And celebrating their birthday on Saturday is Hadley Mayfield.  Happy Birthday Kaylin and Hadley! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

The penny wars are still on. This month the winning class will be rewarded with the sweetest of treats plus lunch outside. They will also get to choose a Halloween costume for Mr. Corr to wear on October 30th. (This costume will be approved by Mr. Corr) 

Reminder- 1/2 of your ministry hours for the year are due the week we get back from thanksgiving!  Mrs. Mayer has a service opportunity for this weekend!  Please see her today if you are interested. 

PTO is collecting Claibourn Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

Congratulations to our Volleyball team for winning the State Championship!  Great Job Ladies! 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Hamburger Steak; Rice & Gravy or Mashed Potatoes & Gravy; Corn; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Lima Bean & Ham Soup.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
