Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, January 23, 2026. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Faith doesn’t always mean that God changes your situation.  Sometimes it means that He changes you.  Through Jesus we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. 

Birthdays

Celebrating birthdays today are London Kern and Lola Haas.  And celebrating birthday this weekend are Avery Genin, Kimber Pennell and Helen Hoffmann.  Happy Birthday to ALL! 

Important Messages

A meeting for 7th, 8th and 9th graders who are interested in participating in the Youth Legislature Program will be held in Mrs. McRaney's room after school on Tuesday, January 27th. The meeting will begin promptly after dismissal and should last no more than 15 minutes. If you cannot attend, but are interested in participating, see Mrs. McRaney for more information. 

TODAY is the last day to order National Art Honor Society sweatshirts and t-shirts.  

Mystery Dinner Theatre Fundraiser presented by the SSC/OLA Drama Club on Saturday, January 31st from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  You will enjoy the play “Suspect Hollywood” along with a great dinner, fun and prizes!  Reservations are required, see flyer posted throughout the campus. 

PTO is collecting Claibourn Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Lasagna, Corn; Garlic Knot; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken & Sausage Gumbo.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
