Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, January 9, 2026.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

The Robotics Lego League will have a bake sale TODAY during lunch to raise money for

t-shirts for their upcoming competitions. 

Pearl River Community College ACT Prep Class on February 5, 2026, at the Poplarville Campus.  This session will last from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., including on-site lunch.  See flyer posted outside Student Resource Center. 

Service Hours Opportunity!

Carnival association of Long Beach is hosting a 5k this Saturday and is in need of volunteers.  Please see Mrs. Mayer today for details and to sign up.  

PTO is collecting Claibourn Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

Congrats to our OLA Middle School basketball teams for their victories last night over Long Beach to finish their middle school season. The 7th grade won by a score of 27-5. The 8th grade won by a score of 35-16. 

Archery team needs to meet at the Crab Fest Grounds on Monday after school to move and set up equipment. Anyone interested please come out and see what archery has to offer.  Practice starts Tuesday after school.   

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Grilled Cheese with Tomato Basil Soup; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Shrimp, Crab and Corn Bisque.
