Good Morning OLA!  Today is Wednesday, February 11, 2026. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

1 John 4:10  This is love: not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Thoughts on today's verse:  He loved us first! He offered his Son to save us regardless of our decision to believe or ignore his grace. We are given the ability to accept or reject the death of his Son as the sacrifice for our sins.

Precious King, God Almighty, why you should love us and send Jesus to die for us we will never fully understand. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your sacrifice for our sins. Thank you, Jesus, for coming to save us. In Jesus’ name we pray… 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

Turn in 5 egg cartons to Mrs. Troutman to earn free dress on March 30th. 

PTO is collecting Claiborne Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

Sports

Our Crescents Softball Team will open its season with home games against Moss Point on Thursday 02/12/26 with the JV game at 5:00 and the varsity game at 6:30 at the OLA Softball Field.  Please come out and support our Crescents Softball Team as we begin our 2026 campaign.  Crescent Pride! 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Grilled Cheese with Tomato Basil Soup; Fruit; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Creamy Chicken Soup.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
