Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, February 18, 2026. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

Father God, Be with us today.  Fill our hearts with joy.  Fill our minds with learning.  Fill our classrooms with peace.  Fill our lessons with fun.  Fill our friendships with kindness.  Fill our school with love.  In Jesus name we pray… 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

OLA and SSC will NOT exchange classes today

2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th Periods will report to the Student Resource Center today.

7th Period will report to Ms. Grey’s classroom. 

OLA Sports

Since our break began, the varsity basketball team has accomplished two firsts for OLA. On Friday, they beat St. Patrick 58-46 to win the District Championship! Then, on Monday the Crescents were back in action as they hosted the first round playoff matchup against Hazlehurst. They won that game as well, 61-23. Now, the Crescents will host the second round on Friday at OLA at 6 pm versus Quitman High School. Please come out and support the team! 

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Cheese Nacho Bar with Toppings; Spanish Rice or Mexican Cornbread; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Smoked Gouda Soup.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
