OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thursday, April 2, 2026
Good Morning
OLA! Today is Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Morning Offering and
Special Intentions:
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
Holy Thursday is the commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, when he established the sacrament of Holy Communion prior to his arrest and crucifixion. It also commemorates His institution of the priesthood. The holy day falls on the Thursday before Easter and is part of Holy Week. Jesus celebrated the dinner as a Passover feast. Christ would fulfill His role as the Christian victim of the Passover for all to be saved by His final sacrifice. Today, we pray for Holy Thursday.
In the Name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Lord God, You sent your Son into the world, And before his hour had come, He washed his disciples’ feet. You had given all things into his hands. He had come from you, and was going to you, And what did he do? He knelt down on the floor, And washed his friends’ feet. He was their teacher and their Lord, Yet he washed their feet. Lord God, help us learn from his example; Help us to do as he has done for us. The world will know we are his disciples If we love one another. Strengthen our hands and our wills for love And for service. Keep before our eyes the image of your Son, Who, being God, became a Servant for our sake. All glory be to him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever as we pray……..
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy
Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive
us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Spirit.
Please remain
standing for the Pledge:
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
