OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, April 1, 2026. 

Morning Offering and Special Intentions:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Today, we pray for Holy Wednesday. 

Holy Wednesday is also known as Spy Wednesday because it is traditionally thought of as the day Judas Iscariot conspired to betray Jesus to the Sanhedrin in exchange for 30 pieces of silver. Because Judas is thought to be sneaky, his actions conjured up the image of a spy. Today, we pray for Spy Wednesday. 

Lord God, We tremble to think That it was one of Jesus’ own friends who betrayed him.  One who sat by him, who broke bread with him.  Give us strength, we pray, To walk faithfully with Jesus, Even when the road we walk is rocky.  Even when the message of the cross seems like foolishness And even when we feel betrayed.  You, Lord, are always faithful.  We stumble, we become lost, But you are steady and sure.  Give us the grace to endure our troubles, And reveal to us the glory of your kingdom, Through your son, Jesus Christ we pray…….. 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

Student Art Show in the Student Resource Center TODAY during lunch and after school until 4:30. 

If you did not receive a packet of $1 raffle tickets or need more tickets, there are extra tickets in the office. If you sell 50 tickets, you will get to wear shorts to school, if you sell 100 tickets, you will win a beach day, and if your class as a whole sells the most tickets, your grade will win a pool day! See Ms. Alarcon if you have questions!

Service Hours Opportunity, see Mrs. Mayer to help with Golf Tournament on April 18th. 

PTO is collecting Claiborne Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

Listen Up Soccer Team, we need ALL Soccer uniforms returned to the office by the end of the day TODAY.  If we do not receive your uniform, your FACTS account will be charged.

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Spaghetti with Meat Sauce; Green Beans; Garlic Knots; Fruit; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Cabbage Soup. 

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
