Good Morning OLA!    Today is Monday, August 24, 2026.  

Morning Prayer:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Dear God, thank You for the gift of this new day.  Fill our hearts with peace, our minds with clarity, and our steps with purpose.  Help us to show kindness, choose gratitude, and trust in Your guidance…. As we pray…

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Sofia Chacon.  Happy Birthday Sofia! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

National Art Honor Society will have its first meeting this Friday at 8:00 in Mrs. Troutman's room.  

Attention all Spanish Honor Society Members. On Wednesday we will have elections of officers.  Election will be held at 8am in Mrs. Chacon class. 

Any student in grades 9 through 12 wishing to participate in Youth Legislature this year should sign up with Mrs. McRaney in room 400 and pick up an informational flyer by Friday, August 28th. 

We are getting ready for our new season of robotics. We have both Lego Robotics for 7th and 8th graders and Robotics for 7-12th. You can join both. The sign-up sheet will be outside Mrs. Rogers Room 204. We will have an interest meeting Tuesday 8-25. If you have any questions, please contact  Mrs. Rogers or Mrs. Cranford. 

All summer service hours are due by September 1. They will not be accepted after this date.

If you have sold your Raffle Tickets, please return your envelope to the office as soon as possible.  

PTO is collecting Claiborne Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

Congratulations to our Crescent Volleyball team on winning the annual OLA Kickoff Classic! The girls went a perfect 5-0 to bring home the championship!  The Crescents earned wins over Hancock, Purvis, Sumrall, Mary G. Montgomery, and Gulfport. Great job ladies!

Teachers:  Please take enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Hamburger with Trimmings; French Fries; Fruit; and Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Minestrone Soup.
