Good Morning OLA!  Today is Friday, September 11, 2026.  

Morning Prayer:

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday today are Ava Garcia, Bella Chiniche and Mary Swinton Harris.  And celebrating their birthday on Saturday is Olivia Mares.  Happy Birthday to ALL! 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Raffle Tickets are due TODAY!  If you have your raffle tickets in your bookbag, please bring to the office. 

If you have your “Flu Shot” paperwork, bring to the office at the end of first period. 

Attention:  Phones must be placed in the phone caddy when you walk on campus.  If you turn your phone into the office for check out or your phone is at home please sign the clipboard. If you are checking out due to sports you do not need to sign the clipboard. Failure to sign the clipboard will result in a write up. Thank you.   

Service Hours Reminders!

How are you doing on those service hours?  Remember that at least half of your yearly requirement is due in November.  Also remember that you must turn in your reflection forms within two weeks of completing your project- which means that if you haven’t turned in hours you did in August, they may be late! 

There are several opportunities this weekend- for Holy Trinity School- see Ms. Graham.  If you want to help with clean up at St Mary’s Cemetery on Saturday, see Mrs. Corr or Mrs. Mayer.  And if you want to help with Adopt a Grandparent at Dunbar Village on Saturday at 2pm, see Mrs. Mayer. Don’t let these opportunities pass you by- our community needs you!  

Attention all students who plan on attending Youth Legislature! Your payments of 150 dollars are due on Tuesday September 15th. Checks should be made out to Our Lady Academy. Turn them in to Mrs. McRaney and be prepared to give her an update on your bill. Remember, once the payment has been submitted, no refunds can be issued. 

PTO is collecting Claiborne Hill grocery receipts.  Please drop off your receipts to the office.  

OLA Sports

Attention Soccer Players!

JV and Varsity Soccer tryouts will be held September 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd and 25th at the OLA soccer field beginning at 4.00. 

Junior high soccer tryouts will be held September 21-22 from 4-5:30 at the OLA soccer field.  

Attendance & Lunch Orders

Teachers:  Please enter your attendance and lunch orders.   Today’s Menu:  Grilled Cheese with Tomato Basil Soup; Sliced Pears, with Drink; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken and Sausage Gumbo.
